3 TRAITS OF A GOOD EDUCATION SYSTEM
Finding the ideal education system is impossible since each country has its own approach. This issue must be analyzed to answer the question of what makes an education system successful. There have been a lot of discussions and debates about this topic in modern society. The right person to answer this question would be Sumeet Mehta. Founder and CEO of LEAD- an EdTech company that provides a technology-based school transformation system that ensures children receive a high-quality education. On Figuring Out, we discussed several factors that impact the education process.
Because different countries approach education differently, it’s challenging to establish a system that can be called ideal that fulfills the worldwide need for a great education system, even though it is difficult to pinpoint the unique key that makes the education system successful.
However, there are a few points that I would like to share with all my readers-
1. Equality in the classroom
Education inequality is a significant problem in many parts of the world, so focusing on this issue is crucial for improvement. Because poor students lack access to private schools, tutors, and extra classes, they do not have the same chances as high-income students. Since they lack the financial resources to be accepted into a university, they have a lower possibility of acceptance.
Furthermore, girls and boys should have the same opportunity to attend school and be assessed. Every student should be able to participate in school regardless of gender; teachers should consider the student’s results and give students of both genders a chance to demonstrate their abilities.
2. Proficiency of teachers in the classroom
It is essential to ensure that teachers have high degrees of qualification since their construction of the learning process constantly dictates the outcome. The degree to which teachers are professional depends on their expertise and willingness to work with and understand students. To create a comfortable environment in the classroom, the teacher must be able to interact with the children, find a way to approach them, and give them opportunities to show off their creativity and skills in a positive way.
The success of a teacher is directly related to the success of their influence over pupils. The teacher will set a positive example for them to follow that will help them achieve better results for their students. Additionally, teachers should avoid favoring any student in the classroom and maintain neutrality and objectivity in all situations occurring in the school to prevent psychological harm.
3. Use of technology in the classroom
As we move into the modern world, technology plays an increasingly significant role in education. By allowing students to practice and familiarize themselves with cutting-edge technologies, schools can prepare them for working in large companies where the latest and modern technology is applied. With the assistance of advancing technologies, students of the current generation will be more at ease throughout the learning process, thanks to their daily use of mobile devices.
Lastly, we must remember that all these factors that can improve education are based on the need to create an environment where students experience comfort. There is no pressure and less stress from homework and exams, and they feel free to be themselves regardless of their background. Using interesting learning processes and interactive tools is the key to effective education based on psychological comfort and equality; teachers should inspire children by using interactive learning processes and tools.
